I’m Danielle, a Tokyo based creative. Working on various projects and just “doing” things makes me happy, especially if others can appreciate and enjoy the work being done. Here’s two major areas of note:
EDUCATION
I love learning and I’ve been an educator for over a decade in the US and Japan, mostly in ESL/EFL. I created entertaining lesson plans in various situations I’ve worked in throughout my career, operating with a philosophy of empathy and student centered approaches. Want efficient and enjoyable learning/training? Put yourself in the learner’s shoes! Learner experience and perspective is of the utmost importance.
I taught and developed educational materials and programs for K-12, university students, and adults in multicultural and multilingual environments. I can write and teach for global audiences. Curriculum design and assessment creation is a particular interest of mine along with learning new technology. Need help creating a course or an assessment? Need someone to help organize all that information? Creating a presentation? I’ve done all this and more for students and professionals.

ENTERTAINMENT
I work in entertainment and help produce and direct creative, participatory, retro-futuristic art events with my partner. We promote local artists and performers while organizing performances abroad such as France and Taiwan. Our brick-and-mortar shop located in the heart of Koenji, Tokyo, serves as our base of operations. Events we created have been featured on NHK and other various media sources. Wardrobe and styling services are also provided.
